Fran Brown is the head coach at Syracuse University and one of the top coaching minds in college football. Known for building elite rosters and team culture, he’s held key roles at Temple, Baylor, Rutgers, and Georgia before becoming Syracuse’s 31st head coach. In his first season, he led the Orange to a 10-win campaign, multiple Top-25 wins, and a dominant bowl victory. A 2025 Bear Bryant Newcomer Coach of the Year, Brown also ranked as 247Sports’ No. 1 recruiter for 2024. He and his wife, Teara, have three children.
